We Rebuilt Everything. Here's Why.
CognioNews v2 — faster corrections, deeper analysis, and a 7-dimension framework that treats news like it matters.
Something was broken. Not just our hosting — though that was spectacularly broken. The real problem was deeper: we were correcting headlines but not going far enough. So we tore it all down, rebuilt from scratch, and launched the CognioAPI.
The Cogniosynthetic Corrective Engine v2
Every story now gets analysed through seven dimensions — not just what happened, but what's missing from the conversation:
- Indigenous Knowledge — traditional and indigenous perspectives mainstream media ignores
- Historical Parallels — deep historical patterns that repeat and rhyme
- Cross-Cultural Wisdom — how this story looks from outside the Western lens
- Scientific Evidence — what the research actually says
- Artistic & Spiritual — the cultural and creative dimensions of every issue
- Future Modelling — where this is heading, and what the scenarios look like
- Marginalised Voices — perspectives from communities most affected but least heard
Every correction now includes a Power-Knowledge Audit — who produced this narrative, for whom, and what power structures does the framing serve or obscure? Plus Solution Pathways grounded in evidence, and an Integrated Synthesis that weaves all dimensions together.
By the Numbers
New Infrastructure
We've completely rebuilt the platform from the ground up — new server, new pipeline, new everything. The old system had reliability issues that were holding us back.
Stories now flow from discovery through AI-powered significance scoring, into the Corrective Engine, and onto the site — all within minutes, all automatically, all reliable.
CognioAPI — Open for Pilots
We've opened up the Corrective Engine as an API. Organisations can now submit their own documents for epistemic analysis — board packs, risk registers, policy documents, governance reports.
If it contains institutional meaning, we can audit it.
This isn't just a news aggregator with opinions. This is epistemic infrastructure — a system for making the knowledge structures behind information visible, auditable, and correctable.
